College Advice You Can't Afford To Pass Up! College isn't just about the next four years. It is the beginning of new opportunities and choices that you will make in your life's course. You have to cover all angles in your preparations to be fully ready for the college experience. When preparing to attend college, sit down and write a list of all the items you'll need to bring. You should try going to school prepared rather than calling your parents each week for items that you forgot. This is particularly true if you're far away from them. Bring a bottle of water to school with you. You need to be hydrated all day. This is especially true if you have back-to-back classes. Drinking plenty of fresh water is sure to help you remain focused and alert. Easily accessible water fountains now make it easy to refill water bottles. If you want to get an education on a limited budget, consider going to a community college for two years before transferring to a different universities. You will find that community colleges are cheaper than other schools and your credits will transfer as long as you complete your general education before transferring.
